Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump

These pumps are basic equipment for emptying sealed vessels. 
They can be used either independently as the main pump, or be 
served as the force pump for booster pumps,diffusion pumps and 
molecular pumps. Furthermore, they can also be used as holding 
pumps for vacuum systems and as pre-pumping equipment for different 
kinds of ion pumps. 

They ar esuitable for applications in electro-vacuum industries, 
vacuum flask manufacturing,vacuum welding and as an accessory to 
fine gauges or meters where a vacuum is required. These items are 
suitable for laboratory use due to their small
size, low weight and quiet operation.

These pumps are allowed to work continuously for many hours under 
atmospheric temperatures of 5 – 40o and intake pressure 
below 10 Torr. If the relative humidity of the pumped gas exceeds 90%, 
the ballast valve should be opened.

If the inlet port is widely opened to the atmosphere, the pump is 
not allowed to work more than three minutes. These pumps are not 
suitable for pumping over-oxidized, explosive or corrosive gases, 
as well as gases that may chemically react with the pump oil or 
contain dust particles.
